This SUMMER BEAUTY is at Earthen Vessel gallery in Durango, CO…another true summer beauty is in Santa Fe today…sunny, warm, breezy and glorious weather.
The gentle happy sky in this painting dances rhythmically alongside the fluffy sky in the GRASSLAND painting pictured below. It is always good to have two paintings that play well together when exhibited on a gallery wall and I kept that in mind as I created these two pieces. I imagine them as good friends. I hope to celebrate summer for a bit longer, although fall is lurking just around the corner. But, you know, fall contributes some beautiful color to the world…and maybe to some new paintings…from the studio
