RADIANCE and PROMISE

RADIANCE and PROMISE…acrylic on canvas…24×36

My latest New Mexico landscape, very close to my heart, painted with saturated colors and passion. These colors are mine…easy to use and easy to envision in a finished work.

The image above is not quite as exciting as the painting is in person, but does a decent job of depicting its energy. I kept my strokes loose as they moved away from the focal point to add a bit of dance to the final image.

Available in Tapestry Gallery, Madrid, NM…from the studio

  2. Lovely, exciting, etc., etc. I love the virga and the touch of violet in the upper left corner!

    • Yeah! Thank you…the virga was a solution for me to connect the sky to the ground without adding detail to the ground. It worked! I may also be SO longing for rain that it is unconsciously always on my mind. Purple…a favorite of mine. Sue
