It has been a busy two weeks! I started on a horizontal landscape that just didn’t want to cooperate, so I thought I would start another piece and take a break from the first. AFTER THE RAIN is the result. The other piece is still languishing on my easel. It may sit for quite a while while I work on some other projects.
I really enjoy painting with this color palette. The finished pieces are quite calming and gentle. I also loved working larger and on a really nice canvas…thank you Dick Blick! I don’t know if they have changed their premier canvas supplier (I have used these many times) but this particular order has the most luscious surface texture. I hope any more I order will also.
