THE ESCAPE

Oh my, another raven.  I have become interested in this bird and I don’t know why.  I like the bird in silhouette by itself, but I also like what it does to focus a small painting.  I think this bird has a personality.  Why?  I must say I really don’t know.  I may be repeating myself, but I really don’t get the attraction…but it is in the back of my mind all the time.  In this painting, “he” is trying to escape the barn…looking over his shoulder.  Will he make it?

I am working on other things these days…quilting and sewing…I am not focusing on painting, so this obsession may subside.  If it doesn’t, I may have to go full steam ahead with it.  Again, oh my…from the studio
