A bit different subject matter and a bit larger still. Still following a natural theme, the branches are supporting and strengthening this individual…from the roots up. The red thread references the blood flow, through the veins, through the branches.
This piece is elevated on pins, framed and mounted on watercolor paper, but is more evenly elevated…not as dimensional as the others. I have not completed more silhouette images, but may do so in the near future…from the “thread” studio.
As I mentioned before I took a winter break, I was going to explore a few different artistic avenues this winter. I just completed a second endeavor…so different for me…and need to test market it a bit…more in a few weeks…
