I delivered this piece to the Tapestry Gallery in Madrid, NM last week. It plays well with the others on display. I have been having a good time painting in this narrow horizontal format and it seems to be appeal to my customers.
I am currently working on a 16×40 canvas depicting Elephant Butte here in New Mexico. Our state’s COVID numbers are increasing, and therefore, the Governor now requires out of state visitors to quarantine for 14 days. Elephant Butte has always drawn campers and boaters from Texas, so use may be down in the near future and I may depict it quiet and serene…next week…from the studio
