An Oldie but Goodie

I’ve been working on adding dimensional layers to my quilts…still not ready to photograph and post.   In reviewing some older work, I remembered the dimensional work I had done years ago.  I developed a method of presenting these pieces in a woven canvas frame.  It combined my desire to quilt and to paint in one piece of art.

I did a series of eight pieces using this method.  I still have a frame built, canvassed and ready to go.  Maybe I can use it to present my new layered pieces in a different way…from the studio
