In the past two weeks, things have changed again. I will fill you in over the next few days, but for now, I want to show you another painting that has found it’s way to Mostly Madrid for the Studio Clearance. I delivered it Friday and I think it is pretty nice.
I so enjoy painting the southwest landscape and have been working on a few during my quarantine…yes, I was close contact exposed…so I painted to keep my self busy and calm. What a week!
I also (finally) got to practice my oil painting. I was essentially starting from scratch…did three smaller paintings, using canvas and gesso board, bought more oil sticks, ordered more oil sticks, was sent the wrong collection, reordered, and am waiting patiently for them to be delivered so that I can paint again. I was missing a selection of paler colors that I found I really needed to do a better job. Enough…that’s for another post.
I will be supplying this gallery with paintings (and continuing the Monsoon Sale) only until the end of September…more on that in another post…many decisions made this past few weeks…from the studio
