It has been a very busy summer. We have travelled a lot, mostly to Colorado to camp. We got away every chance we had.
The last few weeks have been consumed with the sale of my studio. I have not quilted in a few years and found myself painting each day and selling through galleries in Santa Fe, Madrid, and Durango, CO. I no longer needed the space of a stand alone studio. We closed on the sale of the studio today and I have returned to my studio space at home to paint. Saying goodbye to a good old friend where so much was imagined and finished…….you served me well.

I have returned to my first painting love…landscapes! I am going to pursue long horizontal landscapes of New Mexico. I have completed two to deliver to Mostly Madrid this Sunday. I truly enjoy working in this format and can’t wait to do more.
