Testing Different Ideas

Painted rice paper

I’ve been busy exploring different ideas and gathering parts and pieces to make some samples for larger projects. I enjoy spending the month of January trying new things and developing a plan for the next few months.

The early months of the year are slower in the gallery, so free time abounds compared to other seasons. I stocked up Jupiter Fine Arts last week with thread sculptures and giclee prints…my New Mexico landscape prints are now available in the gallery. That also takes some of the pressure off.

I collected some gorgeous cording that I can see using in a few ways, but again, I need to make some samples to see if my ideas can truly work as I envision. As I progress, I will share some samples with you. Here’s the beautiful cording…from the studio

What would you make????
