Another painting on canvas. I don’t often use solid layering, but on this piece, I wanted to scrape into the paint to reveal the underlying color. I used red oxide along with some yellow to give me a lovely background to build upon. Sometimes when you think you are caged in, you forget to look straight ahead for an opening…..from the studio
